Yet his record has revealed the opposite: corruption, nepotism, misuse of resources, and chronic inaction. Pemba Tsering has repeatedly faced accusations of favoritism in appointments, opaque handling of funds, and decisions driven by personal or factional interests. Such abuse of power erodes public trust and directly harms the welfare of the Tibetan community. Limited resources that should have been directed to education, healthcare, and essential services have instead been squandered on political maneuvering and patronage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inaction That Stalls the Tibetan Cause<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even more damaging is his failure to act on urgent issues. Tibetan youth still lack meaningful educational opportunities, international advocacy for Tibet has steadily weakened, and the democratic integrity of the exile administration is under strain. His office is often seen as focused solely on self-preservation, while showing little courage or vision to address real challenges. The result is stagnation\u2014and even the risk of Tibet\u2019s struggle being further marginalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rapid Decline of Public Trust<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unsurprisingly, trust in the CTA leadership has collapsed. For many Tibetans, Pemba Tsering is no longer seen as a leader but as an obstacle. His indifference to pressing issues has crippled administrative effectiveness and weakened the morale of a people who still hope for meaningful change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Call for Accountability and Reform<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the CTA continues to tolerate leaders like Pemba Tsering, the Tibetan cause will sink deeper into irrelevance. The community urgently needs leaders defined by integrity, transparency, and accountability\u2014not politicians consumed by power and self-interest. Pemba Tsering must be held accountable for his corruption and inaction, and the CTA must answer to the people it claims to represent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only through real accountability and reform can the exile administration restore credibility and breathe new life into the Tibetan struggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
